The Workspace group in Settings holds the configuration everyone in the workspace shares. Appearance is here too, although it is yours alone — it is saved to your device, not to the workspace. These live on Settings → Your profile, on the card below your own details. Admins and the owner can change them; the name appears in the sidebar, in the header and on every invite link. The logo accepts a PNG, JPEG or WebP.

Fields & tags

Three cards, all about the shape of a contact.

Tags

A tag is a colour-coded label on one contact — vip, wholesale, needs-callback. Add one by typing a name, picking a colour swatch and pressing Add; delete one through a confirmation. Tags are for facts about a person. If you want a named audience with a purpose (“March webinar attendees”), use a segment instead — see Segments.

Custom fields

Extra fields on every contact — ZIP code, lead source, account number. They appear on every contact record and in the Update Contact Field automation step, so an automation can write to them.
This card is admin-only and does not appear for Agents or Viewers. Editing is refused at the database level as well, so there is nothing to work around.
Field types and where custom fields show up are covered in Fields and tags.

Phone number formatting

Contacts are stored in canonical international form — +919791766444 — on every channel. A number typed without a country code has to be resolved against something, and that cannot be guessed globally: the same ten digits are an Indian mobile in one workspace and a US one in another. Pick the default country; the card shows a live sample of how a locally typed number will be stored and displayed. Everyone can see the setting; only admins and the owner can change it.

Canned replies

Saved answers your team drops into a chat by typing /shortcut in the inbox composer. They are shared by the whole workspace — the point is that everyone answers the same question the same way, so there are no private libraries. Any member who can send messages can add, edit and delete them. Each reply has: Using them in a conversation: Canned replies.

Deals & currency

One default currency per workspace. It seeds new deals and formats every pipeline and dashboard total.
Existing deals keep the currency they were saved with. Changing the default does not rewrite history.
Everyone can see the setting; only admins and the owner can change it. See Pipelines and deals.

Appearance

Two independent controls, both applying the moment you pick them — there is no save button.
  • Mode — light or dark. Light is the default.
  • Accent colour — Watx Green (the default), Violet, Emerald, Cobalt, Amber or Rose.
Appearance is saved to this device, not to your profile or the workspace. Your teammates are unaffected, and the same login on another browser starts from the default until you set it there too.
The same mode and accent controls also sit in the user menu at the bottom of the sidebar.
