Your first pipeline
A new workspace gets a pipeline called Sales Pipeline with five stages, so there is somewhere to put a deal on day one: New Lead → Qualified → Proposal Sent → Negotiation → Won You can rename, recolour, reorder and delete these, and add your own.Several pipelines
Add pipeline creates another one — a separate board with its own stages and its own deals. Any new pipeline starts with the same five default stages. Switch between them with the dropdown next to the page title. Creating pipelines needs the Admin role or above.Managing stages
Manage pipeline in the pipeline dropdown opens the stage editor.1
Rename the pipeline
The Name field at the top.
2
Reorder stages
Drag a stage by its handle. The new order is saved when you click Save changes.
3
Rename or recolour a stage
Edit the name in place, or click the colour swatch for a ten-colour palette.
4
Add a stage
Pick a colour, type a name, click Add. It is created straight away at the end of the list.
5
Remove a stage
The bin icon on the row. A stage that still has deals in it cannot be removed — move or delete them first, and the dialog says so.
The board
One column per stage, in stage order, each showing the number of deals and the total value in it. Drag a card to another column to move the deal; the change saves immediately. Keyboard users can focus a card, press Space to pick it up, move with the arrow keys, Space to drop and Esc to cancel. Dragging changes the stage only — there is no ordering within a column. Cards are always newest first. A card shows the deal title, a Won or Lost pill when it is not open, the contact, the value, the expected close date if there is one, and the initial of whoever it is assigned to. Clicking it opens the deal. There is no search, filter or sort on the board.Creating and editing a deal
Add deal in the page header, or Add deal at the foot of a column to start it in that stage.
Editing a deal adds a Status card with Mark as won, Mark as lost and, once it is one of those, Reopen deal. A deal is open, won or lost — nothing else.
Delete deal sits in the footer of the edit panel and asks to confirm.
Creating, editing, moving and deleting deals needs the Agent role or above. Members with the Viewer role can see the board and nothing more.
The metrics above the board
Six tiles, each with an information icon explaining the calculation.
These figures cover the pipeline you are looking at, not every pipeline.
Currency
One currency per workspace. Set it under Settings → Deals & currency; only admins can change it. It decides the currency a new deal defaults to, and the currency the board totals, the pipeline metrics and the home dashboard’s deal figures are shown in. Existing deals keep the currency they were saved with, which is what the deal card shows. There is no exchange-rate conversion anywhere. If you record deals in more than one currency, the column and pipeline totals add the raw numbers together and label them with the workspace currency.Deals created for you
A deal does not have to be typed in by hand.- The Create deal automation step opens a deal in a pipeline and stage you choose, with a title and value that can carry variables from the run. Update deal then moves its stage, changes its value or marks it won or lost. See Steps.
- An AI agent can open a deal when a conversation shows enough buying intent, if you switch on the Deal creation skill. You choose the pipeline, the starting stage and how confident it has to be. A second skill, Deal assignment, lets it assign a deal to a teammate. See Skills.
The agent keeps one deal per conversation: asked again on the same thread, it updates the existing open deal and appends to its notes rather than opening a second one.
Where deals show up elsewhere
- The contact drawer’s Deals tab, and the Inbox contact panel.
- The contact’s activity timeline, as a Deal opened entry.
- The home dashboard — Open Deals Value and a pipeline-value donut broken down by stage.
- CSV export from the dashboard.
