This is what your workspace pays Watx. It is not the same thing as Sales
documents, which is the invoicing you issue to your customers — see
Sales documents.
The plans
There are three: Starter, Growth and Enterprise. There is no free plan. Prices and limits are read live from your Watx instance, so this page does not quote amounts — open Settings → Plan & billing to see the current figures for each plan side by side. Every plan sets the same set of limits:
Limits are checked before an action, not after: a broadcast to more
recipients than you have messages left is refused before any of them is sent,
rather than halfway through. When a limit is reached, Watx says which one and
what you have used.
Paused AI agents still count towards the agent cap. A cap you can dodge by
pausing is not a cap.
The free trial
Choosing a plan in the welcome wizard starts a 15-day free trial. No card is asked for and no payment is taken. While the trial is running, the whole plan is available. In the last five days, a strip above the dashboard header counts down. You can dismiss it, but it comes back — a deadline banner that dismisses for ever is decoration. If you need more time, the billing screen has an email and (where configured) a WhatsApp button that opens a pre-filled message to support. Extensions are not self-serve.Paying — automatic renewal
Checkout goes through Razorpay, and what you authorise is a recurring mandate, not a one-off payment: you approve it once — by UPI AutoPay, card or netbanking — and Razorpay charges you every cycle after that. Nobody is asked to come back and pay by hand each month. The checkout dialog says so before you authorise, and after it Settings → Plan & billing carries an Automatic renewal card naming the next charge date.Converting a trial does not bill you immediately. The first charge is deferred
to the end of what you already hold, so you never pay twice for the same days.
Plan & billing is owner-only — stricter
than admin-only — because a workspace has one plan and one person paying for it,
and a payment made by anyone else would land on a record nothing reads. A
teammate who reaches the screen is shown who to ask, by name and email.
When a payment fails
A declined renewal does not lock you out on the spot.1
Grace — the workspace still works
The subscription moves to past due. Sending and creating carry on
working. A banner appears saying the payment could not be taken and that
access will stop if it is not sorted out.Razorpay retries on its own schedule during this period.
2
Lapsed — access stops
If it is still unpaid after the dunning period, the subscription expires.
Sending and creating are paused and the workspace is sent to a billing
screen.Nothing is deleted. Contacts, conversations and automations are exactly
where you left them and come back the moment a plan is paid for.
The billing screen
A workspace whose trial is spent and which has paid nothing is sent to a dedicated billing screen rather than back to the plan wizard. It offers only the exits that exist:- Pay and continue on the plan you were on, or choose a different plan;
- ask support for more time, by email or WhatsApp;
- talk to sales, if the plan is one that is quoted by hand.
Changing plan
Open Settings → Plan & billing. Every plan’s card has a button, including the one you are on:
Picking a different tier takes you to the checkout page for it.
While you are on a paid plan, the welcome wizard will not change it — plan
changes for a paying workspace go through checkout, so that what you are
entitled to and what you are charged never disagree.
Cancelling
Settings → Plan & billing → Automatic renewal → Cancel renewal. Owner only. Cancelling stops the renewal, not the plan: you keep everything you have paid for until the end of the current cycle, and the card then says Access ends with the date instead of Renews. After that date the workspace loses access until a plan is chosen again — there is no free tier to fall back to. The confirmation dialog names the date before you press the button. If you change your mind before it arrives, Resume subscription on your plan sets a new mandate up.Who sees what

AI credits are a separate meter. On platform credits, AI thinking is paid
for out of a credit wallet topped up on its own; your plan’s message limit is
a different thing, and you can exhaust one without touching the other. See
Credits and your own key.
