The four roles
Roles are ranked, so anything an Agent can do an Admin can do too.
A member is a person. An AI agent is software. The role spelled
“Agent” here is always the human one.
What each role decides, in practice
Your role is per workspace. If you belong to several, you may be the owner
of one and an Agent in another; the switcher shows which role you hold in each.
See Workspaces.
The roster
Each row shows the member’s avatar with a presence dot (online, away or offline), their name and email, when they joined, and their role. Your own row is marked You. A summary line above the list counts who is online, away and offline.Inviting a teammate
Invitations are links, not emails — Watx generates one and you share it however you like.1
Open the dialog
Press Invite member (admins and the owner only).
2
Choose the role
Admin, Agent or Viewer. The dialog describes each as you pick
it. You cannot invite someone as owner.
3
Choose how long the link lives
1 day, 7 days or 30 days. Seven is the default.
4
Add a label (optional)
Up to 80 characters, for example
Sara — support team. It only ever appears
in your pending list, to remind you who you sent the link to.5
Generate and share
Press Generate link. Copy it, or press Send via WhatsApp to open a
pre-filled message naming the workspace and how long the link is valid.
Pending invitations
Below the roster, admins and the owner see every invitation that has not been accepted and has not expired, with its role, when it was created and when it expires. Revoke kills the link immediately. Accepted and expired invitations drop off the list.Changing someone’s role
Admins and the owner can change a role from the dropdown on that member’s row. Three rules:- The owner’s row cannot be changed here.
- You cannot change your own role.
- Owner is never an option. Promoting someone to owner is a transfer, not a role change.
Removing a member
Press the delete button on their row (admins and the owner; never on the owner’s row, never on your own). The confirmation says what happens:- they lose access to this workspace immediately;
- any other workspace they belong to is untouched;
- their login is not deleted.
Watx does not create a replacement workspace for someone you remove. If it was
their only one they will see “You’re not in any workspace” — a real state, not
an error — and an invite puts them straight back.
